Table of Contents
The analysis which follows can be read in either of two ways, according to the reader's preference:
1) As a linear argument (through the default link, labeled "next");
2) Or randomly (by returning to this table of contents each time).
In either case, the structure is intended to be dialogic, arguing that site embodies aspects of both a prescriptive position (the site dictates to the learner by restricting movement) and an exploratory position (the site accommodates dissent, alternative viewpoints).
