Course Requirements
Attendance and participation are to be considered a formal part of the requirements. Instead of a midterm and a final, there will be occasional in-class writing exercises based on the day =s assigned reading.A five-page paper on any work on the syllabus discussed in September or October is due Tuesday, October 27th; and a paper of approximately eight to ten pages, on any work discussed in November or December, including but not limited to Paradise Lost, is due no later than Thursday, December 3rd. You are expected to be familiar with the complete description of the Georgetown University Honors Code, which can be accessed electronically at <http://www.georgetown.edu/departments/english>.
