5. Development of library of Mathematica code for combinatorial images.

Mathematica software (from Wolfram Research) is undergoing product evolution which in general introduces new and more powerful capabilities. However, in some cases, the commands which formerly worked are now not entirely in accord with the current version. To gain access to these former commands, we need to recode them in the present version of Mathematica. The original algorithms are still in the software (in the package, Combinatorica), so we can usually just rework things. With better integration with low-level languages, now available in the modern version, it may be possible to substantially speed up the code.
