Computer-aided recognition and correction of postural states.

I am a tai ji player of 15 years experience, and I would like to develop a hardware/software system that can be used to improve one's form. The problem is combine some reasonable source of information, say a couple of video cameras and possibly also position and load sensors to indicate the position of the feet and the relative weight on each leg. Using a cartoon model of the body, the goal is to display a stick figure that follows the form, and to indicate through some ambient signal how the player is doing, without breaking his concentration by asking him to look at a screen.
