Yulia Chentsova Dutton, Ph.D. Yulia is a native of Russia. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University and is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Georgetown University.

Valeria Palacios. Valeria is a Georgetown Senior, Class of 2010, double majoring in psychology and theology. Her hometown is Houston, TX


Erin Morris is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, and is a graduate student at American University. She is currently working on the Culture and Emotion study for Dr. Chentsova-Dutton.  In her graduate work, her current research interests include: mediating factors in the relationship between combat-related PTSD and HIV-related risk behaviors, contemporary applications of peace psychology, and the impact of uncertainty on psychological factors of conflict. Erin is also a research assistant at the University of Maryland Psychotherapy and Research Lab.

Angela Condo. Angela is a junior in the college at Georgetown University. She is a pre-medical student pursuing a major in psychology and a minor in cognitive science. Angela has worked with Professor Dutton for the past two years examining cross cultural perceptions of advice and emotions. She is currently working on projects studying the perception of advice and the function of emotions.

Elizabeth Lewis. Elizabeth Louis is currently a junior in the College and majoring in psychology and minoring in justice and peace. She is currently working on functions of emotions. Her hometown is Miami, Florida.
