Weekly assignments for reading/discussion (Fall 1994)

N.B. Boethius' text is an alternating series of sections in prose and verse. Reference thus is to book/genre/number in one telegraphic grapheme. Thus 1M4 means "Book 1, Metrum 4" and 3P6 means "Book 3, Prosa 6". A few moments examination of the text will make this clear. Prose passages are further conventionally subdivided (since Weinberger) into consistently numbered sections, verse into lines; hence 1M4.15 is line 15 in that metrum, 3P6.5 is the fifth numbered subdivision in that prosa.
