Augustine: the Seminar

In the spring of 1994, I conducted a widely-noticed seminar on the work and thought of Augustine that incorporated participation not only of a first-rate group of students at Penn but almost 500 other participants from as far away as Hong Kong and Istanbul. The proceedings of that seminar, of a similar seminar in 1995, and other messages to the seminar group since then are available in old-fashioned gopher log form:

Log of all messages posted to the seminars, spring 1994 and 1995.

  • The 1994 entry incorporates all the messages from that seminar, while the monthly logs since are more intermittent. Files 9501, 9502, and 9503 have the proceedings of the formal 1995 seminar.
