Participants in the listserv included 19 students registered for the class; one student in the Communications, Culture and Technology program who was not registered but attended; and one professor.

Of the 19 registered students, 10 were from CCT, seven or eight were in the English Department, and one was an employee of the English Department.

Among all 21 participants, nine were male, 12 were female.

Of the five most frequent student users of the listserv, two were female, three were male.
