When class members at the beginning of the semester posted their "wish list" of topics to be covered to the listserv, a number of people cited gender issues as an issue to investigate.

Gender was another one of those issues that seeped into class discussion but was rarely mentioned on the listserv specifically. In class, gender was discussed at length in terms of blurred boundaries and issues raised by Stone and others about the changeability of gender as a part of the changeability of personality overall online.
