When surfing around last years sight, I was particularly interested in
section six which had to do with the body and community in this computer
age we live in. This subject has been one that has interested me for
a while. How do interactions through the computer differ from real life
meetings, or phone conversations or letters? Is their an essential essence
of being human that is lost when
meeting, learning about, or talking to people via the computer? Can you
really come to know someone
through these types of interactions? Is the
internet really bridging the gap between people or just the opposite.
