I am a member of the Mathematics and Statistics department at Georgetown.
My work centers on modeling viral infection and immune response.
Past work mostly involves modeling early HIV infection with the goal of improving our understanding of the early CTL and antibody response and their effect on intrahost HIV evolution and
pathogenesis. More recent work involves the type I interferon response during viral infection. Another area of research involves understanding the genetic evolution of subdivided populations.
