MARC L. BUSCH (Ph.D., Columbia University) is an expert on international trade policy and law.

He is a Global Fellow at the Wilson Center's Wahba Institute for Strategic Competition.

He served for six years as a "cleared advisor" to the United States Trade Representative and Department of Commerce on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Standards and Technical Trade Barriers.

He previously taught at Harvard and Queen's. He has received teaching awards at all three institutions, including MBA Professor of the Module at Georgetown, the Executive MBA, AMBA, Cornell-Queen's, and MBA Society Teaching excellence Awards at Queen's, and Harvard's Thomas Hoopes Teaching Prize. In 1997, he was nominated for the Joseph Levenson Teaching Award at Harvard for best junior faculty undergraduate professor. In 2004, he received the Frank Knox Teaching Excellence Award for the best undergraduate professor at Queen's. In 2010, Forbes Magazine named his course, titled "Business, Government, and the Global Economy," as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative MBA courses in the United States.
