Bio
Jie Yang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. She received her Ph.D. in finance from Duke University and her B.S. in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Her research interests include empirical corporate finance, capital structure, financing constraints, investments, and corporate governance. Her work has been published in the Journal of Finance and has been presented at various conferences, including the WFA and NBER Summer Institute.
She teaches the undergraduate class on Business Financial Management at McDonough School of Business.
