Grading of the Quiz
As I explain on my page about grading, I use a 12-point scale that is arithmetically equivalent to the standard conversion of letter grades into numbers. Thus, an A = 12, A- = 11, … C = 6, F = 0. To convert your raw score (out of 100) on your quiz to this 12-pt. scale, we will use the following algorithm:
95+: 12 pts.
51–94: (score - 50) ÷ 3¾
50-: 0 pts.
